RGS - 48” x 96” Slab Mill

You've got the perfect slab to make a dining room table. The grain figure is top quality, there are some interesting defects (features!), and you've been waiting for it to dry enough to finally do something with, and the time has come!

Except that 13" benchtop planer and your 6" jointer aren't going to cut it on that 48-inch wide slab.

  • Working Area
    • Material Width: 48 in.
    • Material Length: 96 in.
    • Material Thickness: 2-1/4 in.
  • Modular in both length and width
    • Easily add either 27-1/2 or 55 in. extension kits

Easily plane and surface even the largest slabs, resin pours, river tables, burls, or cookies with confidence when you upgrade to the 48-inch by 96-inch TrueTrac Router Gantry System, with the Threaded Cross Feed option already installed.

With the Threaded Cross Feed engaged (two thumb screws) you can perform an identical cut every pass with the grain of the lumber , leading to greatly improved surface finishes and drastically reducing your finish sanding.

FROM THE GNARLIEST SLAB, COOKIE, OR RESIN POUR...

Thinking about buying that 4x8 CNC Router to handle slabs for yourself and everyone you know? Sweet!

However, doing that is a lot like buying a 737 for the peanuts.

Knock out warps, twists, bows, cups, or all of the above with virtually no tear-out, all with a standard handheld router at about 5% of the total cost of a full scale CNC.

★★★★★

"A good friend is using it to machine a 4in thick coffee table of antique barn lumber and epoxy. He had purchased a bigger more expensive product but never unboxed it when he learned I had your product. It has done an excellent job and he is very happy with the performance. Hope I get it back" - CS

...TO A LARGE TRADITIONAL GLUE-UP

Can't stand the look of live edge lumber and need straight, precise geometry for your projects?

We've got you covered there too, because none of us have ever had a glue joint shift on a dining room table after all the 4-6 inch wide boards are planed, jointed, and clamped together into a 42 inch wide panel...

★★★★★

"I purchased the router gantry system a few weeks ago and used it on my first project to flatten a quarter sawn white oak dining table top.

Just wanted to let you know everything worked great and I could not have flattened the top nearly as easily or got it as flat without the gantry system." - Greg M.
